BSTM Program Specifications

The BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN TOURISM MANAGEMENT program will equip students' competencies that are needed to execute operational tasks and management functions in tourism planning and product development, transportation services, travel and tour operations and events planning.   


HISTORICAL SKETCH

The University of the Immaculate Conception, formerly known as Immaculate Conception College, offered BS in Tourism Management in 2014. UIC BSTM Program was given government recognition by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) in S.Y. 2017-2018. 


The curricula has been revised by the Commission on Higher Education by adding select courses as UIC is an Autonomous University and other general courses intended for K-12 graduates. UIC integrated professional courses that are beyond the minimum to achieve the outcomes of the students and to respond to internationalization efforts of UIC.

The University of the Immaculate Conception is a Catholic School that is an instrumentality of the Congregation of the Religious of the Virgin Mary that aims to provide within its community of students and personnel Catholic values.
